The Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) delivers the QPSea on behalf of Queensland Police Service (QPS). Eligible applicants are sponsored to sit the QPSea by QPS and receive an invitation to register for the exam via the ACER portal.
The QPSea is mainly conducted online, through live supervision via a webcam. This is from the comfort of your own home. This is also known as ‘Remote Proctoring’.
ACER also provides venue-based testing in Brisbane five times per year.
This may suit you if you prefer a face-to-face, supervised assessment. It may also suit you if you do not have the equipment or stable internet needed for home-based testing. Brisbane dates will be displayed in the ACER portal at the time of your booking.
All applicants for the QPS entrance assessment (QPSea) must first register with Queensland Police.
Your invitation from Queensland Police will include a link to the ACER Portal and a timeline for completing your registration.
Booking is done online through the ACER portal.
